Storage Units Have Responsibilities

Storage units come with responsibilities for both tenants and our storage staff ohana. We would like to remind tenants for how to avoid additional late fees or an auction. Here are some tips to remember to avoid late fees.

Managing Storage Units

  1. Rent is due the first of every month. There is a 6 day grace period before late fees are added. However, if your unit is not empty on the first of the month, we expect a rent payment.
  2. Avoid getting locked out of your unit and racking on more late fees by the 15th of the month.
  3. Anything left in the storage unit past the 15th day of the month can lead to the beginning of the auction process.

Although we do not like hosting auctions, it becomes a necessary responsibility for us when payments are not made. Be sure that you are able to make monthly payments before signing up for our storage units. This is important!

Affordability is Priority

Feel free to talk to our staff for recommendations and advice when you are in the process of choosing your storage unit. Although size and convenience may be your priorities, affordability should also be on the list.
