One of our customers, a Stage, Sound & Lights Company, located in Honolulu, Hawaii, was a tenant in our self-storage building on Dillingham Blvd for over 2 years. He started with one small inside self-storage bay, and eventually was renting 2 outside larger self-storage bays. It was perfect for his operation, as he had drive up access. Also, the self-storage facility is open 24 -7, and for his particular Honolulu, Hawaii-based business it was ideal; especially for the nights that they would complete a show or concert and be able to access their self-storage bays late at night or in the early morning hours.
They had use of Dillingham Blvd Self Storage’s conference room, internet, computers, mail service and instant communications with our front retail office. All of which are conveniently located on the outskirts of downtown Honolulu.
Their business continued to grow, and just in October this year they had to lease a larger warehouse to accommodate their operational needs.
One of the reasons that they were successful is that they were able to save money in rent and apply those savings to investing in new equipment, which allowed them to acquire larger accounts.
